allcop Farbbildservice was founded in 1959 as "Allgäuer Copieranstalt" and has developed into one of the largest photofinishers in Germany.

allcop returns to Lindenberg at Kreuzhofstraße 5 after a brief re-location, moving into the old bleachery building of the former hat factory.

Second generation

Otto Wiest worked on the further development of the company for around 33 years, shaping and forming it. Then he handed over his responsibilities as managing partner to his son Peter Wiest.

Digitization

The change from analog to digital photography took place in 2003/2004. The entire photographic technology was revolutionized by digitalization. Film rolls became less and less important and digital media got more and more popular.

The first photo book

In May 2008, allcop produces the first photo books from real photo paper.
By producing the photo books, allcop enters into a production process that is still very innovative. allcop is the first producer on the market to manufacture lay-flat photo books from real photo paper.

Photo gifts

The first photo gifts allcop produced include mugs, pillows and mouse pads.
Today, allcop produces about 50 different photo gifts.

Digital printing

With the "NexPress" from Kodak, allcop puts its first digital printing machine into operation in November 2011. As the first digitally printed product in the company's history, allcop produces calendars. In June 2016, allcop expands production with an HP Indigo for photo book blocks in digital printing.

Care products

In November 2011, allcop has started the production of individualized care products.

Third generation

The change of generation is one of the major events in the family business. Since 2015, the grandsons of the company founder Otto Wiest have been managing the company in the 3rd generation. Monika Sommerfeld and Thomas Wiest have set themselves the goal of reinventing parts of the company as a part of the digitalization progress.

Engraving gifts

In May 2016, allcop adopts laser engraving, a new production process. We engrave pacifiers, pet brands, cosmetic products and key chains.

Order photo products via Whatsapp

Since 2018, FotoPremio has been the first provider on the market to offer a photo ordering service via WhatsApp. Since 2021, there has been a further development that makes the ordering process faster and easier than ever. FotoPremio uses the technology of the photo finisher allcop for this.

allcop acquires affengeilebilder24.de with effect from 01.01.2022. In the segment of artist platforms, the shop offers motives of international artists on poster and canvas. Since its founding in March 2020, the portal has been able to boast the cooperation of numerous international artists, the number of motives and rapid growth.
