Since June 2026, the company has been producing its own solar power at its site at Kreuzhofstraße 5 in Lindenberg. In Scheidegg, the photovoltaic system at Westpark 14 has been reliably supplying rooftop solar power since the site's construction in 2024 – meaning both company locations now generate part of their electricity needs in-house.
"This makes our energy supply a bit more independent and turns our contribution to more sustainable production into something tangible," says Hubert Ohmayer, member of the management board and head of technology at allcop.
allcop has been sourcing its electricity through illwerke vkw Deutschland GmbH from certified 100% renewable sources, with verified 0 g/kWh CO₂ emissions, since November 2022. Since the first in-house solar installation went live in Scheidegg in 2024, this self-generated power has complemented the certified green electricity supply, covering a growing share of demand directly on-site. In July 2026 alone, the two installations together generated 32.0 MWh of solar power, all of which was used directly at the sites.
Two locations, one goal: less dependence on the public grid, more energy from their own resources, and a supply that becomes more concrete, traceable, and verifiable step by step.
