allcop is proud to announce its nomination for the prestigious "Steinbeis Paper Award – Recycling Paper Printer of the Year" at this year's "20th Druck & Medien Awards." Alongside allcop, four other companies have been nominated in this distinguished category.
This nomination highlights allcop’s commitment to sustainability and innovation in the printing industry. A key factor in this recognition was the development of the Natur Pur Fotobuch®, made entirely from recycled paper and fully certified by the Blue Angel. As a result, we have made it our mission to offer our key product – the photobook – as a sustainable option for our partners and end customers, leading to our nomination for the following initiatives.
In our sustainable photobook, CO² emissions are reduced to a minimum. It emits 42% less CO² than a conventional A4 portrait digital photobook. Additionally, thanks to the Stiffback binding, the Natur Pur Fotobuch® is entirely free of plastic, marking another milestone in allcop's sustainability strategy.
After extensive printing tests and durability assessments of the adhesive binding, we selected NAUTILUS® Classic recycled paper in 120 and 160 g/m². This eco-friendly paper is made from 100% post-consumer waste, is FSC® Recycled and EU Ecolabel certified, and is one of the few papers also awarded the Blue Angel.
"We are proud and honored to be nominated for the Steinbeis Paper Award. This recognition is another milestone and motivates us even more to continue bringing innovative and sustainable products to market," says Andreas Schätzle, CCO of allcop.
allcop eagerly anticipates the award ceremony on October 24, 2024, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Berlin. The distinguished jury for the "20th Druck & Medien Awards 2024" includes leading experts from the printing and media industries, including seasoned journalists, industry insiders, and renowned print specialists.
